You’re an explorer in a tomb that should have stayed closed. The floor is a grid of corridors between stone columns, and every step you take leaves a footprint. Walk all the way around a column and it breaks open. Maybe it’s gold. Maybe it’s the key. Maybe it’s a mummy, now awake and very interested in you.
If you grew up with an Amstrad CPC, you already know the rules. Mummy Scape is a love letter to Oh Mummy, the 1984 classic that ate whole afternoons, rebuilt with torchlight, 3D tombs and mummies that are a lot harder to fool.
Plan the route, then run it
Every column you open is a gamble, and every mummy you wake makes the next corridor more dangerous. They hear your steps, they look ahead, and from the seventh tomb on they start predicting where you’re headed. Once every mummy is out, the key appears. Grab it, open the door, walk out with your treasure.
Coins and Magic Flames only count if you leave alive. Die on the way out and the tomb keeps them.
