Remember the slot-car set? The one that took the whole living-room floor, needed an adult to fit the track pieces, and ended every race with a car under the sofa? Tabletop Racing Simulator is that set, rebuilt in 3D with proper physics and none of the hunting for lost guide blades.
Every circuit is assembled from real Scalextric catalogue pieces at their real sizes: straights, curves, crossovers, borders. The cars run in their slots at a fixed 120 simulation steps a second, and they behave like the real thing. Go too fast into a curve and the car deslots, spins, and sometimes leaves the table altogether.
One button. Zero excuses.
Hold to accelerate, let go to brake. The skill is in knowing exactly how late you can lift. Race three laps against an AI driver from Rookie to Alien, practise alone with the timing tower watching every split, or start a Quick Duel and hand the other controller to someone who still thinks they were faster in 1989.
Build the track you always wanted
The track editor lets you sculpt hills, dig tunnels, plant trees, add water, and dress the circuit with grandstands, gantries, pit garages and race control. Or let the generator surprise you with a fast, curvy, compact or elevated layout.
This is an early preview straight from the workbench. It plays best on a computer or a large tablet.
