The story so far
ARKD BOX is the games label of Luis Serrano, better known as Luis Nomad. It started with plywood and joysticks, and it carries on with games for kids and the grown-ups who still remember the arcade.
Select stage
2018Level 1: The cabinet
ARKD BOX was born as real arcade cabinets, built by hand in Spain. The pixel logo glowed in seven sunset bands with an ultramarine shadow.
2019Level 2: The side art
Finished cabinets rolled out with neon palm trees, synthwave sunsets and heroes on the side panels. They looked great in a living room. Getting them into one was another story.
PAUSELevel 3: Pause
Shipping a hundred kilos of wood and glass across the country, safely and affordably, turned out to be the boss we couldn't beat. The cabinets went quiet. The name stayed in a drawer.
STARTLevel 4: Press start
Luis started making games again: football with big heads for his son Joel, starring the whole family, a tomb puzzle that pays tribute to Oh Mummy, a Halloween brawler and a rhythm game for Luna.
2026Level 5: The box reopens
ARKD BOX comes back as the home for all of those games. Same logo, same sunset, a new box to fill.

Luis Serrano “Nomad”
Luis Serrano “Nomad” writes, designs, codes and scores the games. He's a developer, a musician and Joel's dad, which explains the soundtracks and the family on the football pitch. The games are dedicated to Joel and Luna, which explains the football, the cat and the very specific sense of humour.
ARKD BOX is a project created by Luis Serrano “Nomad”.

Why “ARKD BOX”?
Say it out loud: arcade box. It was the name of a box with an arcade inside. Now it’s a box full of games.
